Scope and Content
The series contains the Coroner's Case files of Death Report. Contents include post-mortem examination reports, photograghs, minute, orders to carry out autopsies, notifications of death and other working papers.
Papers of each report are assembled chronologically inside a file jacket with the earliest report at the top.
Arrangement System
Chronological and consecutive single number recommencing with the number "1" except for the missing ones in 1970 (See History subsequent to Transfer). Range of Control Symbols: 1/71 - 828/72 (with gaps).

Note
Upon transfer the files were accompanied by a Register which was mircofilmed in the P.R.O. & subsequently returned to the transferring office. The Register is used in place of the Records Transfer List.
However, the Register of Death Reports (Hong Kong, Kowloon and N.T.) in 1970 had been missing, therefore the missing names were listed on the Records Transfer List instead.
