Scope and Content
Master transparencies (65) of the 1:2,400 map series covering (1) Kowloon Peninsula and areas to the east of it, as far as Junk Bay and (2) Hong Kong and islands immediately adjacent to it.
Arrangement System
The area covered is overlaid by a grid each square of which is numbered. Each numbered square is subdivided into four areas of equal size North-West (NW), North-East (NE), South-West (SW) and South-East (SE), and the sheets comprising the series correspond to these subdivisions, each being identified by the grid number and its orientation symbol (e.g. 161 - SW, 180 - SE, etc)
