Scope and Content
Plan of Victoria City in 29 related sheets at a scale of 60' = 1" - covering the built-up area between Kennedy Town in the wast and Tai Hang in the east and between the lower slopes of Mount Davis, Victoria, Gough, Nicholson and Butler and the northern shore of the island. The sheets are accompanied by a smaller scale plan of the total area marked with a grid to indicate the coverage of each sheet.
Arrangement System
The sheets are numbered consecutively from 1 - 29 each number being prefixed by the letter 'H'. The present numbering supersedes an earlier an earlier consecutive sequence of numbers in which the numbers 1 and 2 occupy opposite ends of the grid. Range of Control Symbols: H1 - H29
